Skeeter's Maze Adventure-2021 

The Adventure Starts Here! Come find your way through Skeeter's Maze Adventure. Enjoy getting lost with friends and family in the 6 acre corn maze...it's a great activity where you can still maintain social distance from others while enjoying the beautiful outdoors.  This year, you will be on a Candyland themed scavenger hunt and will receive a prize for completing. Before you go, be sure to purchase your fall pumpkins from us!

Hours:Open: Sat 10-5, Sun 12-5 from Oct 2 to Oct 24. (closing at 3pm Oct 23 for a private event)

Cost: Tickets are $5 per person, kids ages 2 and under are free! (except Oct 9th--see below)

Special Info and Release of Liability

• FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF ALL GUESTS AND VOLUNTEER STAFF, WE WILL BE FOLLOWING STATE HEALTH MANDATES THAT MAY BE REQUIRED DURING THE EVENT.  WE WILL UPDATE OUR INFO IF RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE. 
• When purchasing tickets, the number of tickets you purchase in one transaction will be redeemed all at once when tickets are scanned at the gate from your vehicle. (ex: if you purchase 4 tickets, all 4 people must attend in the same vehicle together).  Please purchase only the amount of tickets for the people who will be attending with you.   If you need to purchase additional tickets, you will need to use a different email address to complete the new transaction.
• All ticket sales are final.  If maze is rescheduled for any weather related issues, your ticket will be redeemable on another day left in the season.
• For safety, please wear close toed shoes.  You will be walking in a natural environment through the maze, with uneven ground, rocks, and corn stalks.
• Kids ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult in the maze.
• No smoking policy: Creative Works Farm is a smoke free, vape free, tobacco free, alcohol free, drug free, and weapon free facility.  No smoking or use of any of these products allowed on the premises.
• Release of liability: By purchasing a ticket to the Skeeter's Maze Adventure (the event) at Creative Works Farm (CWF),  I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by CWF, or the employees, representatives, or agents of CWF.  I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members or others attending under my name, and further release and discharge CWF for injury, loss or damage arising out of my or my family's use of or presense upon the facilities of CWF, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, CWF or other third parties.  I agree to indemnify and defend CWF against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgements, cost or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of CWF.  If I am purchasing tickets for others, I certify that I have communicated these rules to others in my party, and all guests in my party agree to abide by these rules and terms. 
• Wellness agreement: I understand that I should not attend if I am experiencing symptoms such as (but not limited to) fever, coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, or shortness of breath, or have been exposed to someone in the past 14 days who has been diagnosed with a communicable disease such as COVID.  I understand that if state restrictions are in place, I may be required to wear a mask when indoors or anytime that 6 ft social distancing cannot be maintained.  If I am purchasing tickets for others, I certify that I have communicated these rules to others in my party, and all guests in my party agree to abide by these rules and terms.
• Photograph and Media Release:  By purchasing a ticket, I hereby grant and convey unto CWF all rights, title and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by CWF during the event, including but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings.

WHEN IS SKEETER'S MAZE ADVENTURE?
It will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from Oct 2 through Oct 24.  Saturday hours are 10am-5pm and Sunday hours are 12-5.  You must arrive at least one hour before closing. (closing at 3pm on Sat Oct 23 for a special event)

CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS WHEN I ARRIVE?

To cut down on interaction and check in time, we recommend purchasing tickets before the event by visiting www.creativeworksfarm.org.   You can either print your ticket or have the QR pulled up on your phone when you arrive for the person at the general store to scan you in. Please be sure that everyone on your ticket are with you when you arrive. When ticket is scanned in, it checks in the entire group. Tickets can be purchased in person if needed.

WHAT IF I ACCIDENTLY DELETED THE EMAIL WITH MY TICKET?
If this happens, please contact us to resend your e-ticket.

WILL YOU BE OPEN IF IT'S RAINING?
Any time we get rain, the maze paths can get wet and slippery.  The safety of our guests is very important, so if we feel the maze is too muddy or unsafe, we will close.  Please check with us if we are experiencing rainy weather (or after a storm) to ensure we are open.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located at 107 Creative Works Lane, Waynesboro (just north of Waynesboro, off of Purple Cow Rd/340N)  Once you arrive, follow signs to parking (in grassy field near buildings) then head to the General Store building to get checked in.

WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL WE GET TO DO AT THE EVENT?
Skeeter's Maze Adventure's primary activity is the 6 acre corn maze.  This year's theme is Candyland!  You and your group will get to go on scavenger hunt type adventure through the maze, and will win a prize for completing.  Once you're done with the maze, pick your fall pumpkins out from our selection. (prices range from $2-$6 each). Lots of fun for the whole family!  

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING ELSE AT THE MAZE?
Your ticket price allows you to go through the maze and play games.  We will also sell drinks, a few snacks, and items in the General Store for anyone who wishes to purchase, so you may want to bring some cash or a credit card just in case. 

WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE?
We will have drinks and some snacks for sale, but no meal-type foods.  Families are welcome to pack a lunch to eat in our picnic area...either in the center of our town, or under the pavilion (unless it is rented for a private event).  On Oct 9th at the Farming in the Valley Festival, there will be food trucks onsite.

IS THE EVENT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The corn maze, game area, pavilion, and buildings can be accessed by wheelchair. Due to the outdoor terrain, there may be some areas of the maze that are harder to navigate through but all items that need to be found for scavenger hunt will be reachable. If you need special accomodations or have questions, please call ahead of your visit.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED?
Once you enter the gate, the entire facility at Creative Works Farm is a smoke-free, vape/e-cig free, tobacco free, drug free, alcohol free and weapon free zone.

CAN I BRING MY PET?
Leashed pets with responsible owners are allowed at this event.  Pets must be able to be controlled by owner at all times, not be aggressive towards others, and be cleaned up after. 

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO FROM SKEETER'S MAZE ADVENTURE GO?
All proceeds from the event benefit Camp LIGHT, our summer camp program for individuals with special needs and at risk youth. We are a 501c(3) organization with a mission to empower, inspire, and spark the imagination of individuals with special needs in an environment that is adapted to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THE MAZE.  DO YOU DO PARTY RENTALS?
We rent out our diner and pavilion areas for birthday parties for $100 an hour.  The rental fee is for the space and seating.  Renter is responsible for decor, food, and supplies for the party. The diner can accomodate groups of 20-25 people.  The pavilion is open with picnic tables, and can accomodate groups of 50-90.  Renter would also pay $5 per person for all guests who do the corn maze and game area.  (kids ages 12 and under in the maze must have a responsible adult with their group). All rental fees benefit Camp LIGHT's summer camp programs for individuals with special needs and at risk youth.
