Winetasters of Toronto Membership Form 

Why Join Winetasters of Toronto? Let me count the reasons!

1. Silver Oak, Penfolds, Brunello di Montalcino, Stratus, Chateauneuf du Pape, Chateau Latour – some of the wines members have enjoyed over the last few years. Chateau Lafite, Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon, Old Ports, and Beaucastel will be poured this year. 
   Yquem, single vineyard Barolos, Caymus, Cote Rotie, and Jadot are all waiting in the cellar for the next few years. 
2. Tastings are priced at our historical cost (plus out of pocket costs for room rental etc.)and not the current replacement cost.
3. Members may bring guests (member prices are lower than guest prices).
4. Unique tasting experiences are offered. Only a privileged few would be able to put together similar tastings without an extensive private cellar or the financial resources to access the wines at world market prices. 
5. Networking opportunities with fellow wine enthusiasts and collectors who want to share and compare experiences with other members. 
6. Education as most tastings are led by wine professionals with specialized knowledge of the wines included in the tasting. They share their personal knowledge as background to the tastings and then discuss their own notes on the blind tasting itself. As well new members may choose to sit at a tutorial table to learn about the wines and the blind tasting process. 
7. Other opportunities for enjoying wines are also available to members. Winetasters plans dinners – usually two a year – where interesting menus are paired with wines. 

Our tasting events are held on the second Wednesday of each month from September through 
June. Most events are in the North York Memorial Community Hall, 5110 Yonge Street (under 
the library). We recommend that tasters take the TTC to the North York Centre subway stop. If 
you insist on driving there is parking under the building.

Individual Membership costs $55 per year. For two people sharing one address the double
membership costs $85.00 (HST is included). This fee pays for mailings and other costs of 
operating the club including the cost of our wine cellar. Please complete the renewal form on 
the back and mail it along with your cheque to the address indicated. You may also join or 
renew on line at www.winetasters.ca and pay through PayPal.

Join now and your membership is for BOTH the balance of the 2015 - 2016 year and the 2016 - 2017 year.
