Tech Talk: YAAS to RAAS
Understanding the kidney and blood pressure control

Program Description:
The kidney is a vital organ responsible for a variety of functions, including blood pressure control and filtration. One of the most important blood pressure mechanisms is the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. This program will describe the anatomy and function of the kidney, the process of RAAS, and how certain
medications treat hypertension. Understanding how anesthesia
and not treating hypertension affect the patient will also be
reviewed, and what to expect with such scenarios.

RACE Approved for 1 CE Credit Hour
