Driving Directions
An interactive seminar where participants will discover a different leadership paradigm regardless of position/title and evaluate their own leadership theories and behaviors. Attendees will be equipped with practical strategies that can be immediately implemented. This workshop also explores the topic of wellness and its tie to effective leadership.
WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS WILL:
• Gain insight/understanding into different leadership theories as they relate to veterinary medicine
• Explore the concept of leadership as influence
• Identify and practice specific behaviors that demonstrate effective leadership and influence
• Understand barriers that inhibit the ability to have influence
• Practice applying concepts to real life scenarios
• Explore the topic of wellness and, using various activities, reconnect with their purpose as a veterinarian
