Presenting at this institute ensures your research, case study or innovative program or quality project will be heard or viewed by highly skilled neonatal nurses from diverse populations.

There are four submission options:  1)  Research Study (Poster only)   2)  Evidence-based Quality Improvement Project (Poster only)  3)  Innovative Program (Poster only)   4)  Case Study (Poster only)

For information on criteria, further instructions, and access to Malama o Na Keiki's electronic submission site, please contact admin@malamaonakeiki.org.  For questions:   pwsheebs@aol.com.

ALL abstracts are due no later than August 30, 2017.

Malama o Na Keiki invites abstracts describing programs, courses, initiatives, or evaluation strategies that characterize the conference theme (*Lokahi:  One Compass.  One Neonate.  One Team).  Each abstract should include background information and a description of methods, programs, or practices.  It also should include summary recommendations for others who may be considering a similar approach.  Abstracts should describe original work and can include work in progress.  Selected abstracts will be selected for poster presentation.  Posters may have been presented elsewhere or published within the past two years.  In that case, please plan to update the material and make it specific to the event.

Presenters will be asked to identify any potential conflict of interest related to the content to be offered (e.g. commercial interest, affiliation with a vendor, and/or receipt of royalties) and affirm that their abstract presentations will not be used to sell a particular product or service.

Submission Process  On the date of the "Scheduled Call for Abstracts", a link will be made available so that submitters may gain access to the submission site.  Submitters will then create an account to upload their abstract, list abstract authors, and provide contact information for all authors.  Abstracts are formatted automatically and have approximately a 100-word limit.  Submitters may access the site as often as they like to modify the document until the final submission deadline and have control over when the final abstract is finally submitted.
