Nancy journey in the field of dentistry/dental hygiene has enabled her to be a valuable resource on the evolution of dentistry/dental hygiene. Nancy has become a dynamic motivational national speaker, a dental educator, a past CE chairperson, a transition leader for staff, a clinical supervisor, a reserach team member on implants, a periodontal hygienist and founder/owner of the CE company Hygiene Excellence Inc.

Nancy graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Arts. A true working station is provided during this hands-on skill development workshop.

SKILLS TO ACTIVELY SHARPEN THREE GROUPS OF INSTRUMENTS
UTILIZE THREE DIFFERENT SHARPENING OPTIONS
CREATE DIFFERENT HAND INSTRUMENT KITS
ANALYZE AND COMPARE YOUR INSTRUMENT BLADES VERSUS IDEAL
DIAGNOSE BEFORE SHARPENING
Learn tricks of the trade with our Working Model approach, simply put what works!
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Sharpen 3 categories of your instruments - sickles, universal curettes, gracey curettes.
- Analyze instruments that you have sharpened against ideal working ends.
- Incorporate 3 different sharpening techniques for accuracy, reducing instrument damage and retaining ideal sharp blades.
- Create two different instrument kits, maintenance versus active therapy.
- Review the diagnostic tools necessary to diagnose patients accurately.
COST: $125 per RDH $175 per DDS No GST
ALL equipment included, HOWEVER, each particpant to bring THREE of EACH: sickle scalers, universal curettes and gracey curettes. A combination of sharpened and new blades is advantageous.

REFUND policy - if three weeks or more notice is provided to Hygiene Excellence Inc. a 50% refund will be given; if less than three weeks is given, no refund is provided.
