Nancy Adair's journey in the field of dentistry/dental hygiene has enabled her to be a valuable resource on the evolution of dentistry/dental hygiene. Nancy has become a dynamic motivational international speaker, a dental educator, a past CE chairperson, a 'Transition Leader', a clinical supervisor, a reserach team member on implants, a periodontal hygienist and founder/owner of the CE company Hygiene Excellence Inc.

Goal: To enhance the knowledge and skills in the field of implants for the dental 'TEAM' and to incorporate a successful implant "working model" into your practice.
Objectives:
- Discuss the similarities and differences between naural teeth and dental implants.
-Recognize the difference between implantitis and mucositis.
-Implement non-surgical techniques in treating mucositis and implantitis.
-Apply recommended procedures for implant maintenance and expand the scope of practice toinclude regular implant exams.
