ACTABS is an accreditation organization for more than 40 private, Christian schools in the state of Texas, recognized by TEPSAC (Texas Private School Accrediting Commission), which recognizes 12 accrediting bodies, servicing private schools in Texas. The Association is comprised of three regions, which hold conferences each year.

San Marcos Baptist Academy, a founding member of ACTABS, will host the Central Region Conference on Friday, Feb. 14, on our campus at 2801 Ranch Road 12 in San Marcos. We look forward to hosting fellow Christian educators as we seek to learn from and share ideas with one another. We are expecting between 400 and 600 faculty, administrators, and board members in attendance from private schools containing Kindergarten through 12th grades in the Central Texas region.

Most schools attending the conference have canceled classes for the day and have required their faculty to attend professional development hours.  There will be multiple tracks for attendees including athletics, elementary (lower school), middle school, and high-school (upper school), and administrators.  There will be one keynote speaker in the morning followed by 45-50 minute seminar sessions throughout the day. Lunch will be provided along with conference admission.  Attendees will be given time to view vendor exhibits between sessions and during an extended lunch.

Sponsors and vendors may bring booth/table setup or request a 6' table with or without electricity.

  • Extended Lunch Session - Sponsorship covers the cost of lunch, including the opportunity to present during the extended lunch session and to place materials on lunch tables.

Lead Sponsor - $2000 (only 1 available)

  • Keynote Session - Sponsorship covers the cost of the keynote speaker for the conference including the opportunity to introduce the keynote speaker and have five minutes prior to the keynote to talk about your organization.
  • Opportunity to host one seminar session
  • Printed on all conference materials
  • Mention from mainstage during keynote hour
  • Prime vendor spot

Vendor - $200 

  • Vendors will be stationed in multiple locations with prime spots given to sponsors.
  • Opportunity to request a seminar session
