Self-Publishing with Ginger Sinton
Please join Georgia Writers Association and Ginger Sinton for our March 18th workshop on Self-Publishing from 12-2 at the KSU Center, Room 300.
This workshop focuses on the process of self-publishing. What is the best way to get your book out there? Self-publishing? Or is choosing a traditional publisher better for you? Explore the options, the procedure, and what to consider as you plan for self-publishing.
Ginger Jackson Sinton has been helping organizations with communication strategies for over two decades. After years of graphic design, writing, and photography, she returned to academia and earned a Master of Arts in Professional Writing in 2012 at KSU, where she developed a new passion for environmental writing. Her book, Rare Coastal Dune Lakes: Biodiversity and a Sense of Home on 30A, released by Dune Lakes Press in 2013, is a creative nonfiction photo book about fifteen geological treasures in Northwest Florida and the ecosystems that surround them. In her book, Ms. Sinton shares personal anecdotes about visiting the scenic 30A area in Walton County, Florida, the sense of home it provokes in her, and how special the rare lakes are to people who live and visit the area.
Free workshop for GWA Members, KSU Faculty, Staff, and Students. $10 admission for general public.
