Georgia Writers Association February 18th Workshop

Novel Structure with Karin Gillespie

Please join Georgia Writers Association and Karin Gillespie for our February 18th workshop from 12-2 at the KSU Center, Room 300.

Why do readers become emotionally involved in novels? The code of storytelling is imprinted in humans of all cultures, and certain character-related elements must be present in a novel to, not only to compel readers, but also move them. Learn what these elements are and how you can organically integrate them into your work.

Karin Gillespie is the author of seven novels, and has an MFA in Creative Writing from Converse College. She is also a book columnist for the Augusta Chronicle, a humor columnist for Augusta Magazine and a recipient of a 2016 Georgia Author of the Year award.

Free workshop for GWA Members, KSU Faculty, Staff, and Students. $10 admission for general public.
