  • 5th - 12th Grade Science Teachers
  • CTE Teachers
  • Math Teachers
  • To be eligible, your school must be located in National Fuel’s service territory.

3:30 p.m.          Registration
Pick up NEED materials and conference supplies. Light refreshments will be served.  

3:45 p.m.          Welcoming Program/Transportation Fuels Bingo
Introduction to the program and welcome by National Fuel representatives.  

4:00 p.m.          Transportation Trio
Hands on stations that teach about the forms of energy and energy transformations through the ways we use our transportation fuels.  

5:30 p.m.          Hands-on Hydrogen Stations

  • Electrolysis
  • Element Modeling
  • Hydrogen in Society Research
  • Model Fuel Cell Car

 6:00 p.m.          Energy Efficiency Measures
Learn about items included in the home energy conservation kit.  Interested teachers will be provided with a class-set of 30 home energy efficiency kits for students to take home, install with their families, and start saving energy.

11/8/18 Agenda

 3:30 p.m.          Alternative Fuel Vehicle Demonstrations
Meet in the parking lot where we will have alternative fuel vehicles available for viewing.  Pick up NEED materials and conference supplies. Light refreshments will be served. 

4:00 p.m.          Transportation Fuels Debate
Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of conventional and alternative transportation fuels in a debate format.   

4:45 p.m.          Transportation Fuels Expo
Work in groups to develop exhibits and make presentations on today’s most important fuels. 

6:15 p.m.          Closing Program
Complete evaluations and order forms for NEED materials. Receive professional development certificates for participation.  

6:30 p.m.          Adjourn
