8:00 a.m.         Welcome and Introduction to the NEW PEEP 2.0 Program

8:30 a.m.         Science of Energy
Learn more about the forms of energy and energy transformations while experimenting with the Science of Energy kit. Take a quick pre-workshop assessment.

10:00 a.m.       Forms & Sources, Energy Round-up, PA Electric Connections
Learn about the nation’s energy resources as they are used to generate electricity.

10:30 a.m.       Nifty Natural Gas Story
This lesson will help explain the energy transformations or flows involved in natural gas, from production to use

11:00 a.m.       Oil and Gas Exploration
Learn about exploration, production, refining, chemical manufacturing, transportation, marketing, and uses of petroleum, natural gas, and their products in the industrial sector.

12:00 p.m.      Lunch

12:45p.m.        Wind and Solar Switcheroo
Investigate the Energy from the Sun and Energy from the Wind kits by participating in stations on each topic, then sharing with others about their uses.

2:00 p.m.         What’s new in PEEP 2.0?
