PREPARE: Disaster & Emergency Preparedness Training
The PREPARE program gives senior living and long-term care providers the skills and capabilities to respond to disasters and other public health emergencies. There are 7 modules to ensure that trainees understand the fundamental issues facing older adults during disasters and emergencies, and know how to respond effectively.

- The Basic Emergency Operations Plan
- Creating Hazard Specific Annexes
- Using the Incident Command System in Senior Living or Long-Term Care Settings
- Creating Functional Annexes
- Other Key Annexes and Appendices
- Practicing the Plan
Continuing Education Hours:
Mather LifeWays is approved by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term Care Adminstrator Boards (NAB) for 7.00 clock hours.
No Cost / Lunch will be Provided.
Please note that if you are unable to attend please notify us prior to 72 hours of the Workshop. Anyone not attending or canceling after that 72 hours will be charged $50 to cover their meal and part of the planner***
