On August 22, 2014 you are invited to take advantage of this 8 hour training that provides an introduction to the Community Response Initiative (CRI). CRI utilizes the Family Centered Practice or “Wraparound” model which is an evidence based, team planning process. The intent is to provide coordinated, holistic, family-driven care to meet the complex needs of our local children and their families.
Families leading their care is a vital component in any successful plan created within the human service field, as is practicing the skills associated with facilitating a family team and integrating the values, principles and beliefs of Family Centered Practice into systems, programs and teams.
This training is the first of three required trainings for individuals/agencies providing services for the Community Response Initiative or working within the Panhandle Systems of Care teams, but is open to any individual interested in expanding or refreshing their knowledge of Wraparound and facilitation.
