National Conference of Women's Bar Associations Annual Awards Luncheon
Each year, the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations (NCWBA) honors outstanding projects and programs of member organizations as a way to recognize and celeberate their accomplishments and to inspire other women's bar associations to emulate them and initiate succesful programs in their own regions. The winner of the 2016 Public Service Award is Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys for Youth Summit on Social Justice Issues. Recipient of an honorable mention in this category is Lawyers Club of San Diego for their Human Trafficking Task Force. The winner of this year's Outstanding Member Program Award is California Women Lawyers for Elect to Run. Receiving an honorable mention in this category is Military Spouse JD Network for Justice for Military Families.
Cost for individuals at unreserved tables is $85. A table of 10 may be reserved for $1000. Pre-registration no later than Tuesday, August 2 is required.
The Stock Exchange Tower, home to the City Club of San Francisco, is considered to be the city's finest example of interior art deco style. The awards luncheon will take place on the 11th floor, at the top of the grand stairwell featuring the famous Diego Rivera fresco, Allegory of California. It is an easy walk from the Bar Association of San Francisco, where the Women's Bar Leadership Summit will be held. Please note that if you register for the full-day Summit, you will also be registered for the Awards Luncheon, and you do not need to register at the link below.
