BHA Vancouver-July 23-27
Camp Details
The BHA Vancouver camp is a high tempo week featuring:
15 hours of ice time (3 hours per day)
- 1 hour skating development-Power Skating,
- 1 hour skills and tactics
- 1 hour game featuring (1vs 1, 2vs 2, 3 vs 3, and 5 vs 5 situations).
The camp is for committed and aspiring players who want to benefit from a great week of training and competition. Registration is limited to 30 skaters and 6 goaltenders.
Camp Location
The camp is at the Burnaby Eight Rinks with off-ice training fields at the adjacent high school grounds. Classroom sessions are on site and lunch is also on-site.
Sample Schedule
0900-1000 On-Ice Session (Skating Focus)
1015-1115 On-Ice Session (Puck Skills)
1130-1300 Lunch
1300-1400 Classroom Session (Video, peak mental performance)
1415-1515 Off Ice Workout (Speed, agility, quickness)
1530-1630 Skills & Tactics (1 vs 1 to full game)
1630-1700 Cool Down & Debriefing
Please note that this is a sample schedule. The actual schedule will contain the above activities but possibly at different times.
Where You'll Stay
Optionally for any attendees requiring accommodation, we're able to provide accommodation at the adjecent Fortius Sport & Health complex, located a short 5 minute walk from the ice rink.
Fees & Cancellation
Camp Fee: $ 695.00
Early Bird Fee: $ 595.00 (If paid before May 1, 2018)
Room & Board Fee: $ 600.00
If a player withdraws before April 30th, a $ 50.00 CDN administration fee will be charged. If a player withdraws after May 1st, a $ 250.00 CDN recovery fee will be charged, and after June 1st no refund will be issued. Full refunds will be provided for students who are able to provide a doctor's note proving injury making your participation unsafe.
Free Shuttle Service from Ice Sports North Shore
As we have moved this camp from the Ice Sports North Shore. We are providing our loyal BHA Summer camp followers a free shuttle service from the Ice Sports North Shore to the Burnaby Eight Rinks. This shuttle will leave in the morning from Ice Sports North Shore to arrive in time for scheduled on and off ice sessions and return to Ice Sports North Shore following the day's activities.
