The Leadership Academy fosters initial leadership development and increases basic skills contributing to professionalism in the workplace. This three-day in-person training will enable you to strengthen your own leadership skills, become more comfortable sharing your story, increase your ability to a become leader in your community, and contribute to fostering a “family-driven” and “youth-guided” system of care. We do a lot of hands-on learning with this training, relationship building, and learn the styles of leadership by practicing them with each other. Training outline:

This training satisfies Kentucky DBHDID's requirements as a prerequisite to family and youth peer support certifications. 18 CEUs are available to peer support professionals upon completion.
