"Engaging the Family: Strategies for Boosting Participation in Head Start Programs"
Morning Session
Researchers from Michigan State University, the University of Michigan and Wayne State will present findings from a joint parent survey and focus group they conducted to learn how to best engage families in Head Start programming. Families from Early Head Start and Child Care Partnerships were queried.
Afternoon Session
Please welcome Rachel Pritchard, Great Start Systems Specialist, and Holly Wingard, Director, Training and Technical Assistance Systems, Early Childhood Investment Corp., as they present a session on family engagement at the next ERSEA Learning Community. Come prepared to hear new strategies and tips, and share those that have worked in your agencies.

The registration rate below is set up to allow one individual to register for the third meetings of the three meeting series.
Member Rate: $125
Non-Member Rate: $150
Morning coffee and lunch is included with each meeting.
Parking Information: Free outdoor parking is available adjacent to the University Club of MSU.
Overnight Information: Candlewood Inn and Suites is attached to the University Club of MSU and can provide a conference rate. Please let them know you are attending a conference at the University Club of MSU.
