Reinstatement for Unmet
2022 RC Trainer Requirements 

This is for RC Associate Trainers that have not met credentialing requirements in the 2022 training year. If this applies to you, your RC Trainer credential is on probation. To reinstate your credential you must complete the reinstatement process.

PROCESS FOR REINSTATEMENT

Step 1. Register for reinstatement  and pay a fee of $100.

Step 2. Watch two RC recorded webinars and pass the accompanying test for each webinar.

Step 3. Complete by the March 31st deadline.

Reinstatement is NOT intended as a replacement for attending RC training events during the year. It is meant only for the rare occasion when trainers do not meet the annual requirement.

Deadline for Completion

The deadline for completing the Reinstatement process is March 31st (of the year following the year for which you are being reinstated). For example, if you failed to meet requirements in 2022, you must complete the reinstatement process by March 31, 2023. 

Failure to Complete the Reinstatement Process - What Happens?

If you do not complete the reinstatement process, your RC Associate Trainer credential will be revoked. A letter will be sent to you and the Executive Director of your agency. If your credential is revoked, you are not permitted to do RC training within your agency. After your credential is revoked, you would need to take the full RC Train-the-Trainer course in order to become credentialed again.

How to Complete Reinstatement 

1. Registration. After you register, you will receive an email immediately. It has a link and password to access a password-protected Reinstatement page on the TSI website.
2. Choices and Quizzes. A choice of webinar videos are available - a brief description of each is listed below. On the Reinstatement page on our website, you will find the descriptions along with the videos and test links. Watch the 2 videos of your choice and complete the tests for those videos. You have 2 chances to pass each test. 
3. Results and Confirmation. Your test results are sent directly to us. Once you have passed the tests for 2 webinars, we will contact you confirming your reinstatement as an RC Associate Trainer.

Completion of Reinstatement satisfies only your 2022 attendance requirement.You are still responsible for attending 2 training events in the current calendar year.
