Spring Up Community Supper
"The Last Supper" - Fiesta Style
Community Supper is a quarterly farm-to-table event that gathers people to celebrate seasonal local food and conviviality over a locally-sourced meal. The volunteer-supported event is a collaborative effort between a myriad of local farms, chefs, restaurants and food carts committed to supporting local farmers.
Come at 5:30 and view the short film "Plant The Seed" by Chef Aaron Stump, about the building of a school garden in Queens, NY. (Viewings also on Thursday, April 14th).
Aaron has been living in a pop-up camper since 2011, Traveling, Cooking, farming and learning about the food we eat and the ecological impact it has on the earth. He has studied Permaculture design and regenerative food production since 2009, with projects in New Zealand, Haiti, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and USA.
