Central Oregon Locavore proudly hosts the "Locavore Food School" program that is the culmination of many nutritionally-minded volunteers and community members including doctors, nurses, nutritionists, chefs and alternative health care practitioners. Locavore's Food School brings you monthly installments of nutrition and cooking classes.

Indian Cooking 101 with Runi

In today's class you will learn about the history and philosophy behind Indian cooking. We will grind some spices and learn how to use them. 

Runi owns the Curry Shack food cart, serving delicious delicacies from the Indian sub-continent. After spending many years as an Engineer in the Hi-tech industry, Runi decided to pursue his passion of food and started Khara Foods in 2012, making packaged Indian food.
