WWOLF - October 19th @ Kalebaugh Family Farm

Willing Workers On Local Farms (WWOLF) is a project of Central Oregon Locavore Non-Profit. We are dedicated to providing assistance to small farms and educating   the community about the true nature of local food.

How it works

Meet at the farm at 10:00am. After a round of introductions we will split into groups  and get to work!  We’ll break for lunch around noon, then return to work until 3:00pm.   A delicious FREE lunch will be provided courtesy of the Kalebaughs, Nature’s Marketplace, Humm Kombucha, Great Harvest Bread Company, and Central Oregon Locavore. Please bring your own plate, bowl, cup, and utensils if possible.

What to expect

Good times, new friends, dirty hands, deep satisfaction, and a boots-on-the-ground education about local farming practices. Lunch will be provided utilizing products from the farm that we are working on. If you have special dietary needs, please be sure to bring some extra food for yourself, just in case. Children are more than welcome with supervision. Dogs are not allowed, thanks for understanding.

Just so we don't catch you by surprise, we will ask that you sign a waiver before participating. Waivers will be available at the farm. Please be sure to sign.

What to bring

Work gloves, work shoes, clothing layers for the weather, sunscreen, snacks, water,     and a camera.
