Advocacy for Nonprofits: Rules of the Road 

Effective advocacy enables nonprofits to contribute to the public debate on important social issues and ensure that communities they support have a voice in the policies that impact their lives.  Unfortunately, many nonprofits are not clear on what the rules are - what they can and cannot do. Join us to learn about the rules of the road so your organization can be more effective in advancing its mission.

The presentation will be a webinar provided by Abby Levine of Bolder Advocacy For those who are interested, the webinar will be followed by an in-person discussion led by Community Foundation staff, Jim Ayres, Vice President of Programs and Strategy, and Michael DeChiara, Senior Program Officer.

This is the registration link for watching the webinar at the Northampton Center for the Arts and participating in the group discussion to follow (if you wish). 

There is NO FEE for participation.

Anyone involved in an nonprofit organization serving the Pioneer Valley may participate. If you are an Executive Director, Program Director, Development Director or board member, this workshop is intended for you.You may come alone or with someone from your organization. Each individual must register separately.

Registration closes on Nov. 22, 2019 or when capacity is reached, whichever comes first.
