Ms. Julia Goldman, a native Northern Californian, specializes in defending doctors in the areas of business, employment, pre-litigation and litigation matters. In the area of employment law, Ms. Goldman is available as an HR resource in the following areas: drafting and implementing new policies including but not limited to the areas of California Paid Sick Leave, vacation, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and wage and hour; reviewing and updating current policies to conform to change in the law; writing and reviewing office policy manuals; dispute resolution assistance; and on the spot advice, such as terminations or disability accommodation requests. Ms. Goldman handles litigation cases for clients as well in the business and employment realms. Ms. Goldman lectures in employment and business litigation to local dental/optometric/medical associations, study clubs, and graduate institutions.
