The book of Genesis is a divinely inspired collection of stories about beginnings—how the world and everything in it came to be—and introduces us to the lives and experiences of our original parents and predecessors in faith. These stories show how we naturally (and sometimes disappointingly) respond to life circumstances and reveal the ongoing invitations to pursue a more excellent way. As we read we see God preparing his people through whom salvation will come to the whole world. Come explore with us how things were meant to be, how they are and how they could be as exemplified in Genesis.

BOOK: Judges –NASB Precept Upon Precept
PRODUCT NUMBER: 70006
What happens when you have a nation that insists on dong what is right in their own eyes? The result is that God's laws are abandoned, absolutes are shoved aside, corruption is prominent, the nation's spiritual temperature grows steadily colder, and bondage to sin is the norm. The book of Judges chronicles the history of Israel as they are defeated time and time again because of their rebellion against God. The lesson for them and for us is this: "Only God's truths and moral principles bring peace and freedom from bondage".

BOOK: Boundaries Participant Guide by Henry Cloud
ISBN: 9780310278085
Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. A boundary is a personal property line that marks those things for which we are responsible. In other words, boundaries define who we are and who we are not. Boundaries impact all areas of our lives: Physical boundaries help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances -- Mental boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions -- Emotional boundaries help us to deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others -- Spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God's will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator. Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend offer biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, showing us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves.
