Highlights from our Winter Wonderland!
For one magical night, we escaped the balmy, tropics for a “Winter Wonderland” of snowy skies, twinkling trees, sparkling gifts and shimmery diamonds. Click the photo below to see all the wonderful memories captured by Michael Whitney Photography.
Guests were adorned in icy blue, silver, and white holiday attire on Friday, Dec. 5th when we transformed Michael’s on East into a fabulous, frozen extravaganza to benefit The Florida Center for Early Childhood.
Celebrating 35 years of serving children and families, this enchanted evening began with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and a “Champagne and Diamond” event. Congratulations to our winner, Margi Furey who won the 3/4 carrat diamond pendant generously donated by Classic Creations in Diamonds and Gold in Venice, FL.
The ballroom glittered and sparkled as guests were treated to a culinary masterpiece being created especially for this year’s event by Michael's executive chef.
Emcee, Michael Klauber, welcomed special guest, artist Jack Dowd. Jack generously donated his 3' sculpture of John Lennon 7 in a series of 35. The guests had a wonderful time bidding to support the Florida Center and to see who would take this museum quality sculpture home. Contratulations & thank you to Graeme & Dina Malloch for their winning bid!
Professional performer, Jonathan Cortez, got the crowd up and on the dance floor with his mix of music that shook things up and cooled things down.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this magical evening a success!
