Small Business Saturday Inspire Series presents:

How Music Can Benefit Your Business

The Small Business Saturday Inspire Series will travel to Edinburgh for a workshop on 'How Music Can Benefit Your Business', supported by PRS for Music.

The roundtable will gather business owners in Edinburgh to examine the impact of music on their business, as well as sharing tips on how music can benefit you small business - from building your brand to driving sales and increasing employee satisfaction. Learn from experts from PRS for Music and hear case studies from other small businesses. Following the event, PRS for Music invites attendees to attend a unique evening of live music performances!

For a taste of what you will learn from the workshop, check out these videos from the PRS for Music and Small Business Saturday Inspire Series last year.

The event is free for small businesses to attend. The workshop will run from 5pm - 6pm and will be live streamed on Periscope with a real time Twitter Q&A, so even if you are not in the room you can still get involved and tweet a question using #PRSinspire. Follow @SmallBizSatUK  & @PRSforMusic for updates.

The schedule for the workshop is as follows:

About PRS for Music

PRS for Music is proud to be supporting Small Business Saturday with Inspire Series workshops looking the benefits and values of music when used in small businesses both for customers and staff.

PRS for Music is a society of around 115,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers and it licenses organisations to play, perform or make available music. It distributes royalties to members and societies fairly and efficiently.

As a business, you play a vital role in the creation of new music because nearly 90 per cent of all the money collected goes back to PRS for Music’s members (the rest on their running costs). PRS for Music licenses the use of musical compositions and lyrics when they are played or performed in public, broadcast on radio or TV, used on the internet or copied on to physical products.
