Two New Cameras From Panasonic
By Doug Leighton
At The Society of Television Engineers

Doug Leighton, Regional Sales Director for Panasonic Professional Video along with Special Guest, Steve Mahrer - Sr. Scientist, Broadcast Products, Panasonic Professional Video will explain why Panasonic has produced, not one but two new Varicam cameras.

Steve is a REAL engineer, smart and pretty entertaining as well, Doug is a two-time Emmy winner and ASC associate member.

The Varicam 35, which is based on a 35mm 4K sensor stays true to the traditions of cinematic production while adding several features that can greatly speed up the production and post production process.

The Varicam HS breaks new ground by using a unique 2/3" sensor capable of operating at frame rates from 1 to 240fps.

Both cameras offer dual format recording as well as revolutionary in-camera color grading and other advanced technologies.

Panasonic's new cameras answer the challenges of producing ever higher quality masters while supporting the demands for greater efficiencies.

Dinner will feature classic tossed Caesar Salad, the choice of Chicken Marsala or Chef's Choice of Fish, rice, vegetables, warm rolls and butter, coffee, tea and/or iced tea and for dessert Carrot Cake.
