Amber Auger, MPH, RDH, is a practicing dental hygienist and clinical innovations implementation specialist. Amber obtained Masters in Public Health from the University of New England and her Bachelors of Dental Hygiene from the University of New Haven. 

With 14 years of experience in the dental industry, Auger works with practices to provide customized protocols, to refocus on the patient experience, and to utilize systemic approaches to periodontal therapy.

TOPIC:  From Pockets to Pathogens - Maximize Technology for Optimal Periodontal Therapy Success 

Are you tired of treating patients with bleeding gums?

We know that healthy gums don’t bleed, therefore having a team approach to inflammation reduction is essential. Often, improper coding prevents the patient from having the coverage they deserve. · Access the 2017 APP Periodontal Classifications and review case studies 

· Discuss DNA testing, chairside microscope education, and laser implementation 

· Review new and innovative ways to improve the chairside experience for both the patient and the clinician; including voice recognition technologies,  instruments and new homecare items that will optimize patient compliance.
