Salt Lake Community College - Express Registration Event 

December 6, 2014, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Enrolling at Salt Lake Community College has never been easier. Become a new SLCC student by completing all steps of the enrollment process in one session. 

  • Complete an admissions application
  • Apply for financial aid (FAFSA)
  • Complete a New Student Orientation
  • Attend a group advising session
  • Register for classes

Whether or not you have already begun enrollment at SLCC, there is no better time to finish the process. College staff will be at the event to help you complete your enrollment, from application and FAFSA to course registration, quickly and efficient!y.

Please note: In order to satisfy the orientation requirement and in order to register for classes students must stay throughout the entire event in order to complete the session


Plan Ahead

Make the most of your session by bringing the following items with you:

  1. Students will need to bring a photo ID to check-in at the event. 

  2. To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will need: 
    • Your Social Security Number
    • Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
    • Your most recent federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
    • Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
    • Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
    • A Federal Student Aid PIN to sign electronically. (If you do not already have one, visit www.pin.ed.gov to obtain one.)
    • If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s). 
  3. For students needing to fill out the admissions application:
    To complete the SLCC Admissions Application, you will need:
    • Cash or a Credit/Debit Card to pay the $40 admissions fee
    • Your Social Security Number (If you have one)
    • Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
    • Permanent Resident Card (if applicable)
    • Utah Driver’s License or Utah State ID Number
    • If you recently graduated from high school, please bring an official sealed high school transcript with you.
  4. In preparation for the New Student Orientation Session and Academic Advising, Please review the following videos:

  5. For a better advising experience, if you have already applied for admissions please consider taking the Accuplacer Test before hand: http://www.slcc.edu/testing/
