AIChE Pittsburgh's Oct 2015 Meeting
will be at the new Energy Innovation Center 

(Former Connelley Trade School behind the old Civic Arena Site)

The Pittsburgh Section of AIChE will hold our 2nd meeting of the 2015-16 year on Thursday, October 8, 2015. We have scheduled an extensive tour of the new Energy Innovation Center along with an introduction and Q&A session by their President and CEO Dr. Robert A. Meeder.

The Energy Innovation Center is a multi-disciplinary green energy and sustainability institution that integrates workforce development programs, green technnology research laboratories, a business incubator, and coordinates collaborative university-industry projects. The 6.6 acre Pittsburgh complex promotes energy-sector research and innovation and creates direct and deliberate bridges to job creation, entrepreneurship and urban economic revitalization. A light dinner with soft drinks will be provided. There is limited free parking available at the site.  There is on-street pay parking as well as parking garages in close proximity to the Center.

Due to the size of the facility, we have a limit of 50 attendees.  We also need to close registration by Monday Oct 5th so we can purchase the appropriate amount of food.
