ARDUINO, Grades 9 - 12

Note: This workshop's registration fees are being paid for by the Building CS Education Capacity in NJ grant, through the Center for Excellence in STEM Education.

Dive into the world of programming through the use of the Arduino Uno microcontroller platform. Learn how to control a variety of electrical components through the use of software, sensors and logic.

Participants will learn these concepts through a hands-on demonstration and engineering design based activity.  All participants will leave having the confidence to use the Arduino Uno in their own classrooms for a variety of projects and applications.

Trainer Information:
Michael Cappiello is an experienced technology education teacher in Howell High School, where he has taught mainly electronics and robotics for twelve years. Michael received a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education at The College of New Jersey, followed by a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology.
