Good IEPs - What They Can And Should Look Like

About the Workshop:

If your child receives special education services, he or she must have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This is a contract that spells out everything about your child's program including his or her learning needs, the services to be provided, and how progress will be monitored. The IEP includes the goals and objectives for the program as well as many other sections, including parent input. This session will discuss:

  • The different sections of the IEP
  • Contents of the IEP
  • What good goals and objectives should look like
  • Measuring progress
  • Parent input to the IEP process and the document itself

Please be sure to bring your child's IEP as we will be answering questions and offering free 20 minute reviews with attorney, Hillary Freeman.
