About the Workshop
Many family members of children and adults with autism want to have a meaningful relationship with their family member and his or her parents, but may have questions. What can you expect from the condition? What are the challenges? What are the gifts? This workshop covers all this and more. It is intended to help extended family members understand autism and how to help the child deal with challenges they may face daily, your own fears and anxieties, and how to celebrate success.
