Advocating For Just Laws

Although VA has seen some movement over the past couple of years as it pertains to the law, it still has a long way to go. Come join us as we collectively continue our discussion concerning how CTTT-RVA can dismantle racism using the law.

During this meeting we will continue to discuss the the following..

1. External Advocacy and Outreach - If there are policies that need to be created, changed, or removed how do we increase awareness in all communities?

2. Organizational Outreach - How do we create partnerships with organizations like the NAACP and the ACLU who have been leaders in justice reform for decades in VA.

3.  Keeping a Scoreboard - Keeping track of polices and what needs to be done to truly make them just and equitable.

4. Advocacy Tools - Defining and setting up tools that helps us and others advocate for policy change.

Below are links to articles and information that will be helpful to the discussion.
