2017 KAMU Annual Conference
September 13-15
Manhattan, Kansas

The Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved (KAMU) Annual Conference  – Driving Change for Health Equity – provides an opportunity for primary care, behavioral health, and dental professionals to meet, share experiences, and learn from the best. The two day conference will feature dynamic, national health care professionals leading ground-breaking efforts to remove roadblocks and navigate the way to achieve health equity.

Attendees will gain valuable insights from two nationally-recognized champions in cultural competence
and reducing health inequities, and learn from a top health policy advisor from a presidential administration. Break-out sessions provide additional opportunities
to enhance knowledge, build skills, and network for a variety of clinic professionals, including leadership, operations, performance improvement, and finance.
See the full schedule and learn more about the featured speakers.

The 2017 conference officially opens with the Annual Membership Meeting for all KAMU members at
3:30 pm on Wednesday, September 13, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan. At 5:30 pm, members and conference attendees will wine and dine on light hors d’oeuvres at the Welcome Reception.

Join KAMU in celebrating collective successes and working collaboratively to ensure all Kansans have equitable access to affordable, high quality health care.
