visionSPARK

because intention matters

SPARK your year. With a new year upon us, you have likely thought about some things you want to do. But have you spent as much think about who and how you want to be?  Have you thought about how to give your dreams and visions clarity and feeling?

At visionSPARK, you'll capture your ideal life's vision not just in conversation and words but in a tangible, inspirational vision board. You'll imagine the possibilities in a pre-workshop workbook, gather inspiration, and then chart your vision with thoughtful support during the workshop. You'll leave with an inspirational board to display, a touchstone word to root you and reinforce your commitment during the year, a gentle call to action to guide you and the motivation to manifest the life you imagine.

$50 registration fee includes pre-workshop workbook, supplies, and refreshments.

About Rosie Molinary, workshop facilitator

During a life that has been spent figuring out how to empower myself and try every day to learn and grow, I found my mission: to empower women and girls to embrace their authentic selves so they can live their passion and purpose and give their gifts to the world.

My guiding belief is that while the world is full of needs, every single one of us was put here on purpose to be one part of the solution this world needs.  But if we are consumed with our bodies, with feelings of inadequacies, or with the other stuff that clogs our minds and hearts and keeps us from being able to focus in on what we are meant to be doing, then we don't ever get to the work we are meant to be doing in the world, we never get to offer the solution we are meant to offer.  My passion is making sure that doesn't happen.  I want you to be accepting of yourself and light from within because the world needs you.

I am the author of Beautiful You: A Daily Guide to Radical Self Acceptance and Hijas Americanas: Beauty, Body Image, and Growing Up Latina. I also teach courses on body image at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, facilitate transformative workshops and retreats for women, and speak on body image, identity, social justice, and diversity around the country.

I am a former high school teacher and coach and care passionately about the empowerment of young people. I serve on the board of Circle de Luz, a non-profit that radically empowers young Latinas by supporting their transformation through extensive mentoring, holistic programming and scholarship funds for further education.

I spend the fall and winter obsessing over NFL fantasy football (and Panthers football) and my cardigan collection and the spring and summer obsessing over my garden and pleasure reading.  I am a crack of dawn runner (or not), and I enjoy yoga, Pilates, surfing, and stand up paddling.

I am equal parts reverent and irreverent.  I paint for pleasure, write for purpose, and parent with equal parts whimsy and panic.  My favorite thing is figuring out, every day, how to get a little closer to my truth so I can better engage in my world while having a sense of wonder and humor about how it all goes down (or doesn't).
