CORE program

STRIVE is a partner of Career Resources. Career Resources will be holding this training for youth and adults. You can be prepared for the workplace with training in workplace readiness, responsibility, and professionalism. 

STRIVE's career pathways program begins with CORE, a job readiness workshop.

CORE has three phases:

1. Attitudinal Training
- including problem solving, critical thinking, self-awareness and interpersonal skills

2. Professional Skills
-including communication, decision-making, workplace ethics and professional etiquette

 3. Work Readiness
-including career planning, labor market information, resume writing, and interview skills. 

CORE's emphasis on job readiness has become a national model, and has been proven to increase participants’ job placement and retention rates.
