ANPD Washington Emerging NPD Leader Award Nomination 

The ANPD WASHINGTON Emerging NPD Leader Award is given to individuals in recognition of those who, within the first 2 years of NPD practice, exemplify outstanding caring, leadership, and professionalism in the practice setting and in NPD.

The nomination should attest to the candidate’s contributions, which may include the following:

• Collaborates with other stakeholders to ensure educational programs are aligned with organizational goals & strategic plan
• Demonstrates energy, excitement, & a passion for quality work
• Incorporates creativity to engage learners in a positive learning environment
• Implements program & project plans
• Supports a culture of innovation & risk-taking
• Supports a “just culture” (culture of safety, authenticity, transparency, shared accountability)
• Promotes the professional development department’s mission, goals, action plans, & outcome measures
• Influences stakeholders to maintain & improve nursing care quality & professional development programs/offerings
• Incorporates leadership strategies into all activities

Nominations are due by March 31, 2020.
