Whack and Roll Independent Team Registration 

The Whack and Roll Croquet tournament engages over 25 local nonprofits in a day of competition for over $10,000 in prize money. Each organization will field two teams of two players each. In addition to the two teams given with the nonprofit registration, up to three teams (six players) may register as independents and play for a registered nonprofit organization.  The team fee is $150 and includes lunch for both players.

New in 2017:  Players who are new to croquet or have never qualified for afternoon play in the past may choose to compete in the Novice division.  If you are not sure if you qualify for the Novice division based on past results, please contact Steve Diehl.  Placement in the Novice division is at the discretion of the tournament organizers and conditional on sufficient interest in Novice play as this is a new addition.  Novice prizes will be $1000 for first place and $500 for second.

The Returning Winner Rule is in place to keep the winner's circle accessible to more teams.  It stipulates that any player who placed (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) in any of the previous two years must play with a different partner.  That partner must also not be covered by the RWR. Players may bring/use their own mallets not exceeding 9" head length.

Clinics and open play will be held at no cost Sunday afternoons in April and May from 2:00-4:00 pm on the MHC lawn.  No registration needed, no charge. Anyone is welcome.
