God's Redeeming Grace

Ephesians 1:7

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."

  Guest Speaker Heather Davis

Heather Davis is a wife and mother of two. She and her husband, Troy, have been married for 22 years.  After her husband retired from the Army, they made Woodland Park their home and have been here now for 8 years.  Heather is a stay at home mom and former military spouse.  Raised Lutheran, Heather converted to Catholicism in 2007, while her husband was deployed to Iraq. She has been an active member at Our Lady of the Woods since her arrival in Woodland Park.  She began her time with the church as an office angel and then helped lead bible studies which later became Women and the Word.  She now serves as a lead money counter for the offeratory ministry, Pastoral Council Chairman, and Magnificat Coordinator.

Heather enjoys reading, hiking and volunteering in the community. She is a member of Teller County Search and Rescue, and volunteers researching scholarships at the local high school.

Please join us at a brunch with Catholic women of the Diocese of  Colorado Springs.  We will share together in the same spirit of gratitude and praise of God as Elizabeth and Mary.  After the meal you will have an opportunity to hear Heather Davis's testimony "God's Redeeming Grace." There will also be a time of prayer for the needs of all present.
