Nova Southeastern University's Global Day of Service is our way of giving back to the community through volunteering efforts and initiatives.

Together, NSU Sharks can serve their communities while demonstrating the reach and power of the NSU network.

BEACH CLEAN UP

Saturday, January 25, 2020 | 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Marine Environmental Education Center (MEEC) | 4414 N. Surf Rd. Hollywood, FL 33019

Help protect marine life and our ecosystem by keeping our beaches clean! Volunteers are recommended to wear a hat and sunscreen. Supplies including trash bags and gloves will be provided. Volunteers can meet Captain, the MEEC's resident sea turtle ambassador, at the end of the event.

END HUNGER IN BROWARD COUNTY

Help assemble meals to feed Broward County's homeless individuals and families by packing 450 lunches. All supplies will be provided. All meals will be donated to Broward Outreach Centers and the Covenant House in Fort Lauderdale.

Supporting America's deployed military service members through a personal letter is an act of kindness that ensures they are not forgotten. All supplies will be provided, and letters will be given to Operation Gratitude and Students United for Returning Veterans to be mailed in gratitude packages for deployed servicemen and women. 

This service is in collaboration with NSU's Veterans Resource Center and NSU Regional Campuses.
