Join CFA Orange County (CFAOC) and Financial Planning Association Orange County (FPAOC) for a day of golf, networking, cocktails and dinner at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club on June 9th for the second annual CFA/FPA OC Golf Tournament.
Set amidst Trabuco Creek and The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo, the 240-acre Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club provides an unforgettable golf experience on par with South Orange County's finest high-end clubs. Conveniently located off Avery Parkway, Arroyo Trabuco offers unparalleled value in a pristine, park-like setting. The 18-hole championship-length golf course was designed by PGA Tour professional, Tom Lehman, and well-respected local golf course architect, Casey O’Callaghan.
Participation in the CFAOC Golf Tournament includes networking, a BBQ lunch, balls for the driving range, complimentary tee prizes, 18 holes of golf (cart included), cocktail reception, a raffle and rewards ceremony. For those newer to golf or unable to commit to the full event, there will be a golf clinic from 3-5pm with club pros.
During the tournament, you will have the opportunity to participate in the following contests: Prizes/Activities:
• Top 3 teams will be awarded prizes
• Prizes will be awarded for Closest-to-the-pin (#4, #8, #11)
• Hole in one challenge: $10,000 cash prize (#13) plus hole-in-one prizes on all other par 3s
• Prizes will be awarded to the longest drives (#17)
• Prizes will be awarded to the straightest drives (#14)
• Putting Contest on practice green beforehand
Winners will be announced, and the raffle drawing will be conducted after the cocktail reception. You can purchase mulligans (maximum of three per player), raffle tickets, and entry for competition holes on the day of the tournament (mulligans and raffle tickets can be purchased online too).
Those who register as individuals will be randomly grouped with other teams prior to the tournament.Format:
• 4-person scramble
• All players tee-off (Must use at least one drive per player on both front and back nine).
• The best drive is selected by the team. Each player then hits a second shot from the chosen first shot site.
• The best second shot is selected by the group. This process is repeated until the hole is completed.
• Total gross score will determine the winners.
• Handicaps will not be factored.
• There is a bogey max on each hole to speed up play.
