The Day:
Join this important educational discussion forum to help us discern where we are with trauma and addiction and what might be incomplete, inappropriate or fundamentally needed will open with an agreed approach to the day, then use facilitated discussion and short educational segments to gather where you, the participants are with trauma and addiction,
then look at ways to better serve folks.
We will learn as much from each other as from the presentation.
Some questions we may strive to answer
-
Is Dr. Maté right? - "All addiction is based in childhood pain."
- What is "Catastrophic Abstinence"?
- How are Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms similar to Aquired Brain Injury and why does it matter?
- What is a larger variable than accessible services?
- Brain Injury burst in to the addiction awareness a few years ago - what is next? We have a clue.
- Your ideas, questions, and wisdom to collect and share.
