Coach Christophe Killian

Christophe grew up sailing the Naples Sabot in Newport Beach, California. He has been sailing a variety of dingys since he was five years old and stepped into Match racing at around 14. Since then he has won the US youth match racing nationals twice and placed third in the open US match racing championships at the age of 18. More recently he has won several regattas at Oakcliff in the Swedish Match 40s Including the Oakcliff international in 2016. Christophe has a deep love for the sport of match racing and is happy to help anyone to get better in any way he can.  

Oakcliff Two-Day Clinic, August 3 & 4: The August Clinegatta is unique in that the Oakcliff Sailing Center is providing two days of expert instruction and intensive training. The opportunity to train and race in the Swedish Match 40s for two days, with organized drills, immediate feedback and video debrief sessions following the training will raise the level of the racing immensely. Often teams are peaking just as the Round Robins are ending. In this event, teams will be ready to go in Race 1, and will only get stronger from there. Don't miss this opportunity to fine-tune your game. (Cost is $100 per person for those registering for clinic only.)
