The 2014 US Womens Match Race Championship will be help at Oakcliff Sailing. July 10 will be a practice day with Coach Dawn Riley. This will be great opportunity for the teams to work on their team work and get up to speed sailing the Match 40s. This will be followed by three days of racing.
The US Sailing Championship Committee has instructed that participants should qualify by sailing their way in through regional qualifiers. The first qualifier will be April 4-6, 2014 at Oakcliff Sailing. April 4 will be a Dave Perry coaching day followed by two days of racing in the Match 40s. The highest placing women skipper will earn a qualification space for the USWMRC. For those who are under 21 and will not turn 21 in 2014 the highest placing woman skipper at the Rose Cup (A National Youth Match Race Event) will also earn a qualification spot.The Rose Cup will be co-hosted by Oakcliff Sailing and Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club and sailed in SCYC's Sonars.

Our goal is to host a fully subscribed, very competitive US Women's Championship.
The Winner of the USWMRC in 2014 will win a spot in the Buddy Melges Challenge being held at Sail Sheboygan on September 23-28, 2014. This is the US Stop of the Womens International Match Race Series for 2014. For more information click here.
