Advanced Match Race Clinic
The Rose Cup is a Youth National Match Race Event. Competitors must have reached their 16th birthday but not their 21st birthday during the calendar year in which the event is held.
The coach for the Clinic will be Dave Perry. Dave is a 4-time US Match Racing Champion, and coach and rules advisor to three America’s Cup teams, and the 2008 & 2012 US Olympic Sailing Teams. Dave runs a great clinic covering all you will need to know about Sonar boat handling and speed, with organized and effective drills for match racing, and some of the best debriefs around. Dave's passion to teach shows through his energy and engaging classroom style.
Chris Love, an accomplished sailing videographer, who did a great job with the 2013 Knickerbocker Cup, will be taking videos, making daily summaries and posting them on Youtube. Links will be here
