Tom Burnham Warmup Match Racing Onshore Clinic

 

Oakcliff Sailing is excited to announce the return of Tom Burnham.

Tom really has done it all in professional sailing. From three America's Cup campaigns to the World Match Race Tour and now pit/stratagist for the World Champion TP 52 Quantam Racing team. He is a coach for the RC 44 Katusha and Artemis teams.

Tom will get the new sailing season off to a rousing start by telling us what is happening in the America's Cup and maybe a few stories from his recent travels to Key West (1st in the TP52 class), Oman and other place and then get us revved up for the season's match racing with a preseason clinic.

Tom will be discussing what is new on the America's Cup and Match Race Circuit along with his tips for match racing a SM 40.

Jump ahead of the pack with speed, crew and tactics tips specifically focused on Match Racing. Participants will focus on learning from other sailors, your crew and the boat itself, to put your team in the lead from the season’s first splash. Shake off the cobwebs, start thinking about Match Racing and get prepared for your best summer season yet.
