Oakcliff One-Day Clinic, July 5: The Oakcliff Spring Invitational Clinegatta is unique in that the Oakcliff Sailing Center is providing one day of expert instruction and intensive training. The opportunity to train and race in the Swedish Match 40s for a day, with organized drills, immediate feedback and video debrief sessions following the training will raise the level of the racing immensely. Often teams are peaking just as the Round Robins are ending. In this event, teams will be ready to go in Race 1, and will only get stronger from there. Don't miss this opportunity to fine-tune your game. (Cost is $50 per person for those registering for the clinic only.)

The coach for this Clinegatta will be David Dellenbaugh. David Dellenbaugh is the publisher, editor and author of Speed & Smarts racing newsletter. He was the tactician and starting helmsman on America3 during her successful defense of the America's Cup in 1992 and sailed in three other America's Cup campaigns from 1986 to 2007. David is also a Lightning world champion, two-time Congressional Cup winner, seven-time Thistle national champion, two-time winner of the Canada's Cup, two-time Prince of Wales U.S. match racing champion and past winner of the U.S. team racing championships for the Hinman Trophy.
