invite you to
Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Certification Training
How can we work with families most effectively?
What does it mean to be a quality Family Strengthening and Support Program?
How can managers, direct service staff, and families work together to develop and sustain quality programs?
The Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support based on the nine Principles of Family Support and the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, have created a common language across different kinds of Family Strengthening and Family Support programs such as Family Resource Centers, home visiting programs, and child development programs.
The nationally-adopted Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support are used by public departments, foundations, networks, community-based organizations, and parents used as a tool for planning, providing, and assessing quality practice.
Participants are highly encouraged to come as teams with Executive Directors, Managers, Coordinators, and Direct Service Staff, as each has a key role to play in implementing the Standards effectively.
FSNH member programs may be eligible for reimbursement from NH Children's Trust for mileage and a stipend for staff time. It is highly encouraged for participants to carpool to maximize available resources.
Participants who complete the full session will receive a certificate from the National Family Support Network that is valid for two years.
Continental breakfast, coffee, lunch, and materials are included.
Check-in and continental breakfast with coffee will begin at 8:30 AM.
The trainings will begin promptly at 9:00 AM, and doors will close at that time. Please plan accordingly, as latecomers will not receive certificates.
